30 June-05 July 2024: We are gearing up to attend the 18th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE) in Milan, Italy. We are going to have an exciting week filled with awesome presentations, exploring the beautiful Milan, and enjoying delicious Italian cuisine. Can't wait to see familiar faces and meet new friends there!

09 November 2023: Our new Book chapter is now available online:  Bayesian Modelling in Engineering Seismology: Spatial Earthquake Magnitude Model. Thanks to Birgir Hrafnkelsson and Benedikt Halldorsson for their invaluable contributions.

November 2022: Welcome Hamed Davari, who joined our team as a PhD student to work on the GeoSiteEff2Haz project. Hamed will pursue a PhD under the supervision of me, Benedikt Halldorsson and Sahar Rahpeyma. 

October 2022:  My paper entitled:  "Calibration of a Bayesian spatio-temporal ETAS Model to the June 2000 South Iceland seismic sequence " was accepted for publication in Geophysical Journal International 

August 2022:  My paper entitled:  "Short-term Bayesian ETAS Spatiotemporal Forecasting of the Ölfus 2008 Earthquake Sequence in Iceland " was accepted for publication in Tectonophysics 

March 2022:  My paper entitled:  "High spatial-resolution loss estimation using dense array strong-motion near-fault records. Case study for Hveragerði and the Mw6.3 Ölfus earthquake, South Iceland" was accepted for publication in the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction.
